About Our School
Nestled within the serene expanse of a lush green campus in Garchuk, Guwahati, along the National Highway No 37 and just a stone’s throw away from the Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), SBOA Public School stands as a beacon of quality education. With a commitment to shaping young minds into productive members of society, our school proudly hosts approximately 2000 students.
Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education under affiliation no. 230036, SBOA Public School offers a dynamic co-educational English medium curriculum following the standards set by CBSE, New Delhi. While English serves as the primary medium of instruction, we also offer three vernacular languages – Assamese, Hindi, and Sanskrit – as second and third language options up to class X.
Our campus currently boasts three academic blocks, with a fourth block underway to meet the growing demand for enrollment. The Administrative and Laboratory Block features state of-the-art facilities including well-equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science, Biology, and Psychology. Additionally, we provide a Sick Room with medical aids, a versatile Function Hall, an open stage, a delightful garden cum playground for our kindergarten students, two expansive playgrounds, and several staff quarters – all nestled within our vibrant precinct.
Moreover, the school campus houses the Garchuk branch of the State Bank of India and an SBI ATM for added convenience. Exciting developments are on the horizon as we plan to enhance our infrastructure with projects such as an indoor stadium, an auditorium, an independent administrative block, additional staff quarters, and a hostel.
