Welcome to the Science Department at SBOA Public School, Guwahati!

Since its inception in 2009 with 86 students, our Science Department has been dedicated to cultivating practical skills and fostering a spirit of scientific inquiry among our students. Through hands-on activities and immersive learning experiences, we aim to instill a deeper understanding of the importance of science in everyday life.

In 2016, we introduced Geography as an optional subject, adding a new collaborative dimension to our pre-existing approaches. This integration enriches our curriculum and offers students a well-rounded educational experience.

Our Faculty of Science comprises dedicated and experienced facilitators who are committed to nurturing the next generation of scientists and innovators. With their guidance and support, students in our Science Stream have the opportunity to explore various scientific disciplines and develop critical thinking skills that will serve them well in their academic and professional pursuits.

At SBOA Public School, our Science Stream offers two distinct choices to cater to the diverse needs and aspirations of our students. Students can opt for the Regular Board Studies along with preparation for the CUET examination, providing a comprehensive foundation for their academic journey. Alternatively, our Integrated Curriculum (IC) option offers advanced studies tailored for students aiming to excel in competitive examinations such as JEE, NEET, CUET, and more.
